Jean Ann Rigozzi, 68, of Bangor, passed away Friday, January 16, 2020 at her home. She was born October 15, 1951 to Evert and Dorothy “Dottie” (Beiers) Wheeler in South Haven. Jean graduated from South Haven High School with the Class of 1970. She worked as a security guard at Bohn Aluminum for several years. She also worked as a meat cutter at the Save-A-Lot in South Haven. She was an artist and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and needle point. But most of all, Jean loved yacking on the phone. At one time Jean was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and Women of the Moose where she would help with the Friday night dinners at the Moose Lodge and American Legion.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter – Amy Remus Castillo, and brother – Timothy Wheeler.
Jean is survived by her children – Melissa (Gene) Keen of South Haven, Anthony “Tony” Rigozzi of South Haven; grandchildren – Jaime LeMay, Aaron Keen, Jose Ramirez, and Antonio Castillo, Jr.; close friend – Debbie Reese of Bangor; former spouse – Michael Rigozzi of South Haven.
