Obituary

Henry George Freeman, Jr., 84, of South Haven, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at  Graceway at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. He was born April 14, 1936 to Henry George and Elsie (Johnson) Freeman, Sr. in Waterbury, Connecticut.  Henry worked for the Desoto Car Company in Detroit and at Kroger’s Grocery Store.  He also enjoyed photography.  Henry was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church of South Haven.

He is preceded in death along with his parents by sisters – Geraldine Williams and Juanita Lewis.

Henry is survived by sisters – Phyllis Freeman of South Haven and Pauline Norman of Baltimore Maryland.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven.  Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM with The Rev. Dr. Rob Cornelison officiating. Henry will be laid to rest at Lake View Cemetery in South Haven.
