Obituary

Douglas Edward Meksula, 66, of Coloma passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 peacefully in his home. He was born June 2, 1954 to Edward and Ruth (Emore) Meksula in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Douglas married Eilene and they shared many years of marriage before his passing. Douglas worked a long-distance truck driver for many years. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in South Haven, Michigan. Douglas served his country in the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Mark Bryant.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Eilene Meksula; children – Kelly, Megan, Danny, and Andrea Meksula, Melissa Daugherty, and Paul (Michelle) Bryant; grandchildren – Casey (David) Lloyd, Brandon (Skye) Bryant, Kristen (Bobby) Martin, Zachary, Emily, and Abbigail Daugherty, and Alyssa, Charli, Phillip, and Jacob Bryant; great grandchildren – Elijah and Chloe Lloyd, Connor and Olivia Martin, Hendrix Daugherty, and Addison Bryant; and brothers – Ken (Agnes), Mark, Phillip, and David (Susan) Meksula.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
