Obituary:
Betty Nancy Spicer, 74 of Bangor, Michigan died on February 9, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born on September 18, 1935 in Clay County, Indiana. She married Wilber A. Spicer on Feb. 8, 1958. Betty worked for many years in the area at S.E. Overton Co., Pullman Industries and Bangor Electronic. Betty enjoyed gardening and sheep farming. At one time Betty owned a book store in the Chicago area. She is preceded in death by her husband Wilber A. Spicer (1992) and her daughter; Mary Cooper (2004). Four brothers; Bob, Dick, Dan and Tom Hall. Two sisters; Anna Mae Pitts and Evelyn Dupher. Betty is survived by her children; John Spicer of Bangor, Michigan, David (Sandra) Spicer of New Orleans, LA and Dan (Pat) Spicer of Norfolk, Virginia. 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 17 from 6-8 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 18 at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev.
