Virginia Lee White, 73, of South Haven died Sunday, January 17 at Countryside Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Community.
She was born October 3, 1936 in South Haven, Michigan to Max and Dorotha (Ridley) White. She worked at South Haven Community Hospital for 32 years as a dietary aid before her retirement. She liked to read and collected angels.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a special nephew-Larry White, brother-in-law Bill Rainey, and sister-in-law Dorothy White.
She is survived by her two sisters- Arlene Rainey of Pullman, MI., Janice (Norman) Gullion of Lakeland, FL. Two brothers- Lyle White of Lombard, Il, and Dallas (Julie) White of South Haven, MI., and a special nephew Dallas White. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will take place Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Linstrom officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to AIDS.
