Rose Ann Woods, 68, of Grand Junction died Wednesday, January 6 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born April 29, 1941 in Ravenna, Michigan to Harold and Edna ( Bayne) Jones.
Rose married William Woods on October 24, 1959 and just celebrated their 50th Anniversary.
Rose worked in the office for Village Market in Allegan for 33 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband – William Woods of Grand Junction, Michigan. Four children – Laura (Bob) VanderWell of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kate Sprague (Mike) Doest of Bangor, Michigan, Tim (Jan) Woods of Fennville, Michigan and Barbara (Brian) Woods Rowley of Allegan, Michigan. Three grandchildren – Brian VanderWell, Ryan Sprague and Anthony Doest. Two brothers – Harold (Thelma) Jones of Florida and Jay (Linda) Jones of Hesperia, Michigan and one sister – Susie Beluzar of Twin Lakes, Michigan. Three sister-in-laws – Joyce Sherman and Dawn Woods both of Grand Junction, Michigan and Carol Flynn of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Many nieces and nephews also survives.
Visitation will be from 2-4 on Sunday, January 10 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Ms. Marsha Tucker officiating. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
