Timothy Clark Cowell, 60, of Grand Junction, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born August 19, 1957 to Donald and Helen (LaMaire) Cowell in South Haven, Michigan. He married Tristan Greenman on 05/05/05 and shared 12 years in marriage. Timothy worked as a union laborer prior to engaging in full-time junking.

Tim felt his best on a motorcycle, spent countless hours fishing, long nights coon hunting and could tell a million amazing stories. He could not go anywhere in this country without running into someone he knew. He would do anything for anyone except willingly lose at cribbage. He was very artistic and had an eye for unique junk. He truly was one of a kind.

He is preceded in death by his father - Donald Cowell and brother - Jay Cowell.

Timothy is survived by his wife – Tristan Greenman, children – Anthony (Liz) Cowell of Watervliet, Fleetwood Cowell of Fennville, Sadie (Brad) Beckman of Brown Deer, Wisconsin, and step-son – Jared (Ann) Marr of Fennville, mother – Helen Cowell of South Haven, siblings – Steven Cowell of Paw Paw, Michigan, Curt (Belinda) Cowell of South Haven, Rodney (Lila) Cowell of South Haven, and Shelley (Jaime) Brown of Allegan, and grandchildren – Aiden, Bennett, Emory, Joleigh, Fielding, Mason, Jazalyn, and Scarlett.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 1, 2017 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the funeral home with Minister Ed Lixey officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lakeshore Toys for Tots, 174 W. 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423.
