Shaun Pierre Gill (Big Plug), 47, was born November 23, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois, to Linda and James Gill. He graduated from Covert High School in 1988. Shaun was a great cook and could cut some hair. Most of all, he was a great friend to many and he always made you laugh.
Shaun was preceded in death by his Grandmother and Grandfather, Willa Ann Manuel and Clearence Manuel, his father James Gill, and step-father Curtis Yancey.
Shaun leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother- Linda Jones-Yancey of South Haven, Michigan, his only brother- Jeffrey Gill of Battle Creek, Michigan, three nephews– Marcus Gill of Kalamazoo, Mi, William Coleman of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Dareeus Gill of Battle Creek, Michigan. One aunt- Vanessa Bailey, and one uncle- Kevin (Priscilla) Bailey both of Chicago, Illinois, and a step-sister – Yolanda (Odie) Dees of Tucson, Arizona. Also surviving are three nieces and two grand nephews, God parents- Shirley and Ricky Rogers of Chicago, Illinois, special aunt- Dorsetta Hancock of Kentwood, Michigan, special friends- Shannon Rogers and Susan Ellis, and a host of cousins

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven, and from 9:00 to 11:00 CST on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at A.A. Raynar & Sons Funeral Home, 318 East 71st Street, Chicago, Illinois 60619 . Shaun will be laid to rest at the Washington Memorial Gardens, Homewood, Illinois.
