Robert Jaunte Thomas, was born on July 10th, 1992 to Robert L. Thomas and Linda C. Jackson, of South Haven, Michigan. Robert accepted Christ at an early age at Second Baptist Church of South Haven, Michigan. He was an only child, but a brother to many.
‘Lil Robert’ as he was affectionately known, attended Covert and South Haven Public Schools. He loved and cherished his Family and friends. He was compassionate, respectful and helpful. He was a hard worker, and loved his job at Magna Mirrors. He also loved hanging out, house parties, bon fire, playing video games with his friends and entertaining his momma with his stories. He loved his momma, grandmothers, and aunts dearly. He also loved old school cars that didn’t work. He loved his dogs and was sometimes referred to as the “Dog Whisperer.” He made friends easily and kept a smile on his face, love in his heart and God on his mind.
Robert departed this life on Sunday, February 4th 2018, at the age of Twenty-Five. He was preceded in death by his great grandmothers, Lula Belle Hamilton, Julia Jackson, grandfather, Mikeral Wayne Jackson, and his uncle Macker Wayne Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Robert L. Thomas and Linda C. Jackson (Vernon), His grandfather Robert Banks, grandmothers, Lula Sowell and Rosa Lynn Jackson, his aunts, Gurzayse Sowell of Covert Michigan, Megale Riggins of South Haven, Michelle (Roel) Ruiz and Kari Tuffelmire of Kalamazoo Michigan, his cousins, Vincent Newell, Alfred Newell, Deangela (Tracy) Hegler, Cinnamon and Kaylie Jackson of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Tyler Jackson of Detroit, Michigan, Otis Riggins, Jr. of Bangor, Michigan, Nakeyia Sowell, Monroe Tubner, Trayvon Vaughn, Kyma’rae Vaughn of Covert, Michigan, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.
Robert also leaves behind his special friend Shawnee, his best friends: Larry, Larry Jr, Latavia, Joey, Justin and Rocko his dog.
